How we research, write and check our pages
AestheView publishes plain-English guides to face and hair treatments, with dated costs, recovery timelines and risks. Here's how that content is made and what you can expect from it.
Who writes our content
Our guides are written and edited by the AestheView editorial team. AestheView is operated by Initiuma, Co. Pages are currently bylined "AestheView editorial team".
We don't have a named medical reviewer yet, and we don't claim one. We're working to add qualified medical reviewers. Until then, treat our guides as a starting point and talk to a licensed practitioner about your own situation.
Where our facts and prices come from
We research each topic from search data and published sources. Facts and numbers on a page are checked against a verified fact list before it goes live.
US cost ranges come from ASPS surgeon-fee averages and RealSelf patient-reported costs. Each range shows the date it was checked, and we recheck it when we update the page. Your own price will depend on where you live, who treats you and how much you have done.
How we use AI
We use AI to help research topics and draft pages. A person on the AestheView team then edits every page, checks the numbers against our fact list and rewrites anything that is unclear or wrong.
Our preview tool uses AI to create a simulated before-and-after from your photo. A preview shows how a change might look. It is not a prediction of your real result.
How images are labelled
Example images on AestheView are labelled "Preview". They are AI simulations, not real patient results.
We will only ever show real patient photos with the patient's written consent. We don't show any today.
Keeping pages current
Every guide shows the date it was last updated. When we update a page, we recheck its cost ranges and facts and change the date.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, such as a wrong price, an outdated fact or something that reads unclearly, tell us through our help page with the page link. We check every report, fix confirmed errors and update the page's date.
Independence
We don't sell paid placements, and we don't take payment from clinics to feature or rank them. AestheView makes money from preview purchases, not from the clinics we write about.
