Who writes our guides
Our guides are researched, written and checked by the AestheView editorial team. We're working to add qualified medical reviewers.
How we put a guide together
We start with what people ask
Every guide begins with real search data: the questions people type about a treatment, from cost and pain to how long results last. We answer those first, in plain English.
Facts come from published sources
Costs come from ASPS surgeon-fee averages and RealSelf patient-reported prices, and every cost table shows the date we checked it. Timelines and doses are checked against a fixed fact list before a page goes live.
AI helps, people decide
We use AI to research, draft and create the preview images. The team edits every page, removes anything we can't back up and makes sure each preview is clearly marked.
What we don't do
We're not a clinic and we don't give individual medical advice. We don't take payment from clinics to rank them, and we never present a preview as a real patient result.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us on the help page. We fix it, update the page's date and, if the change matters, say what changed.
